Turning the Page to Another Year!

I am so thankful that God has God has given me the strength to continue in to another year. Only He knows the future, and I am ready to walk with Him each day that He grants me. I have been blessed with a wonderful Wife of over 60 years (still my Bride), family who love the Lord Jesus, and friends who always seem willing to help me. Then I look at what God has given me with not only our four Sons and their Wives, but my Grandchildren and my GREAT- Grandchildren.

Another Year to Walk with Our God

I look back over the past year and the decisions we have had to make. Yes, there were some disappointments personally, but then I remember that everything is in His control. My "God is still on the Throne and he never forsaketh His own; though trials beset us and burdens oppress us, He never will leave us alone". My childhood home has been sold that held a 74 yeas of memories. God gave us a new grandson-in-law and another one was added to our family in June of 2009, and 7 precious GREAT-grandchildren. We listen to these little preschoolers sing the songs of praise to our God and recite Scripture memory verses, and know our heritage has been blessed by the hand of our bountiful God.

We have no indication as to what our God has in store for us in this year, but we are assured that He holds the future and are content to let Him direct our steps each day.
